As an organization admin or location manager, you can enable WhatsApp notifications for your delivery orders. After enabling this functionality, delivery drivers will receive order notifications through WhatsApp.
To receive the notifications, please download the WhatsApp application from Google or Apple store and create an account with your phone number.
Note: If you have a personal WhatsApp account, it can be used to receive delivery order notifications. Unfortunately, the WhatsApp application would not allow users to create multiple accounts with the same phone number.
Log in to your Moduurn Back Office (MBO) www.admin.moduurn.com as an admin user.
STEP 1: Click on Locations and then on Manage on the location to which the deal has to be imported.
Note: If you are a Location Manager user, you will see the location dashboard when you log in to MBO.
STEP 2: Click on Order Management. Scroll down and enable WhatsApp notification.
STEP 3: Click on Add Recipient Number and enter the phone number. You can add multiple numbers as recipients. Click on Save when the numbers are entered.
Once the numbers are saved, new delivery order notifications will be sent to the recipient numbers' WhatsApp accounts once the orders are accepted.
Example:
WhatsApp notification has been enabled for Moduurn Test Location.
When a delivery order comes in, click on Accept and confirm an order ready time.
As soon as the order is accepted, the recipient numbers receive a notification on their WhatsApp account.
