As an organization admin, you can enable Use Counter Setting for modifiers, to use limits that may be applicable to your particular modifier item. This function allows customers to select the same modifier items using the counter on your online store.
Notes:
Use counter settings for open modifiers and not on forced modifiers.
Do not use this setting if the max limit is 1 for each modifier item. The limit per modifier item must be 2 or higher when using the Use Counter Settings.
Only admin users can make this change on the menu.
To use this function:
Log in to your Moduurn Back Office (MBO) at www.admin.moduurn.com as an admin user.
STEP 1: Click on Menus and on the Edit button on the menu you would like to edit.
STEP 2: Click on a Category and then the Edit button on an item.
STEP 3: Create a new modifier or edit an existing modifier.
Click on + for a new modifier
or click on Edit for an existing modifier.
STEP 4: Enable Use Counter Setting.
Click on Save if you are creating a new modifier.
STEP 5: Type the minimum and maximum limit. You must have a number for both fields here. For the maximum limit, put the number of modifier items (For example, if there are 3 items in your list, put the maximum as 3), or calculate how many items are allowed for each item and put in the total. For example, the Ketchup limit is 2, the Mustard limit is 2, and the BBQ Sauce limit is 2. So the total is 6. Type 6 in the Maximum Limit field.
STEP 6: Click on the Edit for the modifier item you would like to use the counter for.
STEP 7: Leave Minimum Limit at 0. Click on Maximum Limit field and type in the max number you would like for the item or leave it at 0 if there is no limit.
STEP 8: Click on Save.
STEP 9: Click on Save again at the bottom of the page.
Notes:
When adding this function into an existing modifier, this does not affect reordering.
The max limit is per item not per counter in each item. For example, if the minimum is 0 and the maximum is 2 (below Modifier Name), then if you have five items with each counter maximum at 2. Customers can select two at the counter for two items. So the total is four items (not the maximum two).
