Add Ontario's tax exemption for a menu item

Tax exemption is mainly for Harmonized Sales Tax for Ontario.

Keep the default setting "Exempt” for most of the customers. The following are the available tax settings;

• Exempt => No Tax applicable for that item

• Eligible => items that can claim tax exemption

• Qualifying => items that can claim tax rebate when it accompanies an eligible item.

Log in to your Moduurn Back Office (MBO) www.admin.moduurn.com as an admin user.

STEP 1: Click on Menu and click the Edit button to the right of the menu you would like to edit.

STEP 2: Select the category and the item.

STEP 3: Select the exemption type for this item and then click on Save.
