Log in to your Moduurn Back Office (MBO) www.admin.moduurn.com as an admin user.
STEP 1: Click on Configurations and then on Others.
STEP 2: On this tab, scroll down and click on Enable Coupons & Deals.
STEP 3: Click on Deals on the left sidebar. Click on Create New Deal.
STEP 4: The following options will open up. Select the options and type in the details to create the coupon/deal. All fields with an asterisk are required information.
Name - Type in the name of the coupon/deal.
Code - Type the code that customers can enter to apply the code.
Publish - Click on publish if the deal/coupon has to be published on the app as soon as it is created. This can also be done later, once all the coupon/deal details are verified.
Description - Type in a description for the coupon/deal. This will show up under the coupon/deal name.
Discount - Select if the discount is going to be offered as an amount or a percentage. Enter the amount or percentage of discount that will be offered in the blank space.
Allow location level import - Enable this if the coupon/deal has to be imported to locations. If this option is not enabled, then the coupon/deal will show up on the ordering app for all locations by default as soon as it is published.
Click here to Upload the Image - Please click here and upload an image for the coupon/deal.
External ID - type in the ID if there is a POS integration.
Publish start and end dates - Select the start and end date for the deals. If the publish option is selected and the start date is a future date, the deal will show up on the ordering app from the start date until the end date.
Usage - Type in the number of times the coupon/deal can be used by the same customer while it is published. If the usage is one, then a customer can only use it once.
Min order value constraint - Type in a value if there should be a minimum cart value before a coupon/deal can be applied. The customer will have to add items worth this amount or more to be eligible to apply the coupon/deal.
Apply this deal for newly created customers - Enable this option if the coupon/deal should be available for newly registered customers.
Valid for days - This option will only show up if Apply this deal for newly created customers is enabled. Both these options can be combined to promote customer registration with the app. This option decides the validity of a coupon/deal if it is associated with registering new profiles. For example, if the validity is 2, a newly registered customer has to use it within 2 days of registering a profile with the app.
Apply this deal to existing customers' profiles - Enable this option to make the coupon/deal applicable to existing registered customers.
Note: Coupons/deals can only be used by registered customers. Customers have to sign in to the app to apply the coupons/deals to their orders.
Deal Details - The details of the deal will show up once all the required fields are filled. More details can be added as required. These will show up as Terms & conditions on the app.
Apply deals to selected users - Once all the above options are done, please click on Save and then this option will be available. Enable this and upload the CSV that has all the emails. Please click on the question icon to know more details. Only users who log in with the emails added here will be eligible to avail of this deal. The deal will show up on the Deals tab of the ordering application.
STEP 5: Click on Save or Save & Close once finished.
If location level import is selected
STEP 6: Click on Locations and then on Manage on the location to which the deal has to be imported.
STEP 7: Click on Deals and then on Import Deals. A window opens up as below. Find the newly created coupon/deal from the left column on the window. Click and hold the coupon/deal to drag it to the right column and then click on Save.
STEP 8: Click on the Edit button on the imported coupon/deal. Scroll down and select the active menu from the drop-down beside the Menu profile. Then select the categories and items to which the coupon/deal is to be applied (click on Select all for both if the coupon/deal is applicable for the whole menu). Click on Add once they are selected.

Add banner for deals page

STEP 1: Click on Configurations. Then click on White Labeling and on Version 2.0.
STEP 2: Scroll down to Deals Page and click on the drop-down button. Upload banners for the deal page desktop and mobile view. Once done, scroll down and click on Save.
The customers can choose to apply the promo code in two ways;
Before they pay by clicking on APPLY PROMO CODE and then on APPLY on the deal they are eligible for.
By clicking on APPLY on the Deals tab or by clicking on View details and then on APPLY.
